Tracia Barbieri aims to unlock the musical expressiveness and professional polish in the amateur singer, articulating the beauty and joy inherent in choral music.

She has maintained this approach with numerous choruses throughout the area, including the Woodland Chamber Singers, the Davis Chorale, the CSUS Chamber Choir, Sacramento Area Bach Foundation, and churches such as Northminster Presbyterian, Woodland Christian, and Carmichael Seventh-Day Adventist. She has also been recruited to the podium of numerous special events, such as Messiah sing-alongs and multi-church festivals.

It is her goal to build and develop The Vocal Art Ensemble, taking a hobbyist venue and finessing a professional-level commitment and skill.

Small a capella ensembles are special to Barbieri, who also co-founded the six-part singing group Cibo Cantabimus, which performs at benefit concerts, Renaissance Faires, parties, and the Davis Fireworks and Tree Lighting celebrations.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from U.C. Davis, where she served as substitute director and section leader for the University Chorus. She also performed in both the University Chamber Singers and the Estonia Tour Choir, which performed with the Estonia Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus in Russia, Estonia, and Finland.

She earned her teaching credential in Choir in the Secondary Schools, pursued graduate work in Choral conducting at CSUS, and participated in the Sacramento Symphony Chorus’s performance in Carnegie Hall on her 26th birthday. She has performed in the coronation of the Mondavi Center of the Performing Arts, as a soloist with the Davis Festival Singers,  and as a professional choral singer with the Choir of St. Cecilia and the L.A. Baroque Orchestra.
